Change of Address Information

If you are a student automatically enrolled in the MSU BCN student health plan you must update your address through your My Profile at student.msu.edu.  If you have voluntarily enrolled in the health plan, you can update your address directly through the Blue Water Portal by clicking on the link.

Enroll In or Waive the Student Health Plan

Already have an MSU Blue Water Student Health Plan Account?
If you already have a Blue Water student account and have a username and password, select LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT to begin your enrollment in the MSU Student Health Insurance plan or complete an application to waive coverage.

Create an Account
Before you can Enroll in the MSU Student Health Insurance plan through BCN or Complete a Waiver Application, you must first register for a Blue Water student account to obtain your Username and Temporary Password. You will be required to complete a brief account request form.

For students that already have a BCN account:

For students that have not previously registered for their BCN account:

How to search for a doctor or facility

This plan uses the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) provider network.

To find a provider, click on the link below. Contact the provider prior to your visit to confirm their membership in the network.

On-campus health services

All medical and most other visits at Olin and in the Neighborhood Clinics are by appointment. You can reach us by mail, phone, email, and through “MyHealth,” the secure online messaging system.  You can also tell us about your comments, suggestions or concerns.

Health Center Hours
Olin Health Center is open year-round. During the winter and spring breaks, and during the summer, the Neighborhood Clinics are closed. Please see the website for information about Neighborhood Clinics.

Fall and Spring Semesters
Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Pharmacy 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

Summer Semester, Winter & Spring Breaks
Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: Closed

Claims

Get your medical bills paid

On occasion, you may have to pay for health services yourself.  For example, you may have to see an out-of-network doctor who does not accept your insurance.  If this occurs, you can seek reimbursement by submitting a Member Reimbursement Form. The Member Reimbursement form can be easily obtained by visiting the BCN website
